It is natural to want to make a difference. It’s the natural response of love for God to want to impact the world in a way that is noticed. However, when I look to the heroes of the Bible… they didn’t set out to be great. The didn’t have a lofty vision to change their world. They simply had a heart to obey God’s Word and declare God’s greatness. The results were legendary. There is a move in the Church to seek out greatness in the name of Christ. To make your mark or to leave a legacy. Can I suggest that any effort outside of simple obedience to God’s Word and a life declaring the greatness of God and all that He has done is simply a distraction. Focus on loving our great God and He will do great things through you.
