Something that I’ve personally learned in the recent months and years is this… my brother is not my enemy. My brother is my brother, even when he acts in unloving ways towards me or those whom I love. But Jesus sets the bar even higher when He says to us… love our enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you and pray for those who use you and persecute you. How much more should we do this to those who are our brothers and sisters in Christ. You may have those in your life who stonewall you, who speak against you, who make life difficult for you and even act in unloving ways towards you… love them, bless them, do good to them and pray for them. That is what Jesus Would Do and watch God’s blessing and favor pour over your life!
But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,
