President Harry Truman said it’s what you learn after you know it all that really counts. We come into this world ignorant. We don’t know anything. And we spend a lifetime learning lessons. The problem comes when we believe we’ve gained enough experience and learned enough lessons to think that we’re experts at life. It’s an area of self-deception that breeds self-exalting pride. But the person who is humble of heart never arrives. They collect wisdom through their experiences and they are committed to a life-long journey of learning. God is beyond our ability to explore in a single lifetime. The love of God is infinite. The riches of His grace are inexhaustible. He is so big that He cannot be fully known with the limited capacity that we have as humans. So rather than feel trapped by your circumstances, why not commit yourself to a greater and more noble effort… to know God. As you commit to knowing God, knowing His Word… you will discover the revelation that Jeremiah discovered… God will show you great and mighty things that you do not know. Jesus is Alive!
“Thus says the LORD who made it, the LORD who formed it to establish it (the LORD is His name): ‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’
