I’ve heard it said, I love God… it’s the people at Church that I can’t stand! I used to say that myself until one day the Lord stopped me and spoke to my heart with these words… I love the Church. From that point forward I stopped saying that often used quote. John elaborated by saying how can we say we love God who we can’t see if we can’t love people who we do see. It’s true. The real evidence of a heart that has been saturated with love for God is a heart that extends the love of God.

One of the ways that you can communicate love is by being present. I often say that we have the ministry of presence and if we are not present we can’t minister. Make sure you make being present at your home church a priority. You never know whose life you are inspiring to keep moving forward simply by showing up and being an encouragement. Everyone is needed in the Body of Christ.
