All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

The Bible is God’s instruction book on how to live a life that honors God or leads others to worship God through our example. Paul told Timothy God’s Word instructs us about righteousness and equips us for every good work. Righteousness is not about living right but being right with God. It’s about being new creations in Christ. No longer identified by our sinfulness, but now identified by the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. The fruit of this in our lives is a desire to serve God by loving others by doing good things or as I like to say doing God things for them. Today celebrate your life in Jesus and ask Jesus how He might use you to do God things Him.
