You are incapable of cleaning yourself up enough to be worthy of God’s presence, let alone to be an ambassador for Him in this world. Even our best works are like filthy rags in contrast to His perfection. As Pastor Holland continues our study of the book of Exodus in today’s message, he’ll remind us that the only way we’re made righteous is by humbling ourselves and letting God clothe us in His righteousness. He made this possible by sending Jesus to bear the weight of our sin on the cross.
