Sin causes separation. God created a solution to deal with sin, but the individual must choose to come to Jesus and be reunited with the Lord. Often religion tries to fix this separation. Through good deeds, tithe offerings, and rituals, actions make the offender feel better about themselves. But as Pastor Holland shares in today’s lesson, true reconciliation comes from a relationship with Christ. There is no amount of good work you can do to work your way back to God.
