We have a tendency to choose destruction over life. Scripture clearly outlines this part of our nature. Ever since Adam and Eve chose disobedience in the garden, we’ve continued down a path that serves self instead of God. And just like Adam blaming Eve, we’re always looking for some way to excuse or justify our behavior. As Pastor Holland will point out in today’s message, we need to humbly submit ourselves to the truth of God’s Word, realizing that it’s given to protect us and point us to our need for God.
