Our God is a jealous God. To serve Him, you must have no other gods before Him. What does this mean? In our culture, it doesn’t necessarily mean serving another actual god, like Ra or Allah, although serving them is wrong as well. But we’ve gotten really good at being conspicuous about our gods, serving things we don’t even label as gods. As Pastor Holland asks in his message today, “What are you serving above the one true God?” Where are your time, money, and effort going? Where is your focus?
