We spend alot of times teaching kids to be responsible adults, get a good education, find a job that will provide for your family. All good things. But God said that we need to teach our kids to be followers of God’s Word. The most powerful teaching tool you have is your life. Do you talk about God’s Word? Do you live God’s Word? Is God’s Word the first thing on your mind when you get up? Is it the last thing on your mind when you go to sleep. Something I often do is go to sleep listening to a message, a scripture reading or worship (God’s Word set to music). It’s always good advice to teach our kids to do well in life. But there is no better path to experience God’s abundant blessing than to teach our kids to follow God’s Word.

“And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.Deuteronomy 6:6-7 NKJV
