Tomorrow is the end of The Shemitah… the Sabbath Year. Monday is the beginning of the Year of Jubilee. In the famous words of REM… it’s the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine. Many are using this as a fear tactic to sell books, get famous and make money (which is kind of silly if it’s the end of the world). But there are 2 things we need to keep in mind. First, the Bible tells us that we are in the last days. No surprises here to know the end is near. God told us in His Word there would be signs in the heaven… so we have blood moons and eclipses. Awesome. He also told us how to respond… look up and rejoice for your redemption draws nigh!!! Second, the Year of Jubilee is the announcement that all debts are cancelled, slaves are set free, land is returned… it’s a year of GRACE and FREEDOM. Another reason to rejoice!!! I believe 2016 is going to be a year of Harvest for the Church and we will see a historic harvest of souls. I believe it will start on the West Coast and go to the East Coast and I believe it will be a move of evangelism and power. I believe God is positioning a West Coast evangelist to lead the charge. I believe there will be a host of no-name unheard of pastors that God will raise up overnight for such a time as this. I also believe 2016 will be a year of enhanced conflict in the Middle East. Pray for Israel. This is not a time for the Church to huddle in fear. This is a time for the Church to surge forward with great joy. Jesus is Alive!
