Who wants a strong faith? Everybody right? Jude tells us how to build ourselves up our faith. First he says pray in the Holy Spirit. That’s something we’re not really taught how to do in modern church culture. We are people of the Presence of God and we can’t grow without the right environment… prayer. Not just any kind of prayer, but prayer that is led by, surrounded by and saturated with the Spirit of God. Second he says keep yourselves in the love of God. God’s love is the soil that we are to grow in. Third he says look for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ. The mercy of God provides the nutrients needed for growth. You can’t grow in an environment of judgment and condemnation. You can only grow in an atmosphere of mercy. Make sure you are giving yourself what you need to grow!
