In the Old Testament, the high priest would enter into the Holy of Holies to atone for sin and to communicate with the Lord. Following Christ’s resurrection, we no longer use the temple or a priest to meet with the Lord. Instead, as Pastor Holland shares in today’s lesson, you can invite Jesus into your Holy of Holies- your heart. You can have direct communication with the Father. Take some time today to appreciate this direct relationship you have with the Father that was not available before Christ’s death.
