As believers, we sometimes misrepresent God and His Word to the world around us. As Pastor Holland will clarify in today’s message, this book isn’t the book of judgment that some Christians depict it as. It’s also not just all about making us feel good and loved. As he explains, this gift from God reveals who God is to humanity. It also reveals how broken we are, bringing light into the darkness that pervades our hearts. It does this with the intent to bring us into the light, not condemn us to darkness.
