Jesus set the tone for sacrificial living by laying down His life for us. It’s hard to be bitter, angry, demeaning, disrepectful, unloving, slanderous, abusive to someone when you’re laying down your life for them. It’s hard to tear someone down when you’re lifting them up. Consider what Jesus has done for you and in turn demonstrate the same kindness and mercy to others. That’s what makes us Jesus People.
